Wellness Chiropractic has returned to the origins of Chiropractic and offers
a very different service. Wellness Chiropractors remain true to the original
philosophy of chiropractic which includes 4 main principles. They are:
- The body is a self-healing and self-regulating organism.
- The nervous system is the master controller of the entire body.
- The inability to cope with excess physical, chemical, and emotional stress interferes with the nervous system.
- Persistent interference with the nervous system (Subluxations) may cause pain, suffering and disease.
Wellness Chiropractors strive to ensure the body is best utilizing all of its
resources, through specifically focussing on the nervous system. We use technology available to the profession, in the form of on-site high frequency x-ray facilities to visualize and assess any spinal degeneration and misalignments resulting in interference with the nervous
system.
Then, through Chiropractic
Spinal Adjustments, Wellness Chiropractors release this stored tension,
and people experience increased energy levels, improved co-ordination
of body systems, a stronger immune system, and clearer thinking.[1,2]
In addition
to constantly focussing on the nervous system, Wellness Chiropractors also assume
the role of a teacher and health coach for their patients. They assist patients
in maintaining the momentum in their "Path
to Wellness" guiding them toward health and wellness.
Dr. Warren offers treatment
for specific spinal problems and symptoms. This includes common conditions such
as neck pain, back pain, and headaches. Dr. Warren focusses on detecting problems in the
structure of the spine, and then works to release a pinched nerve, and improve motion and alignment in
the spine. This is very effective for the alleviation of spinal symptoms.
In addition to symptomatic care, Dr. Warren also prides himself on offering postural correction through scientifically proven "Pettibon" adjusting and home care techniques. It is our intent for every patient to discover
their fullest health potential through Wellness Chiropractic.
